DP Ramie Faris & Make-up Guru Tina "Glam Gal" Costello strung
together the elements to bring Salmz vision to life.


In an era of diluted content in music and rappers glorifying a lifestyle
they cannot afford. There are the few, consciously thriving and consistently
creative artist whom have been shoved in a box, strapped to a singular
genre or collecting dust on labels shelves for rebelling against label
propaganda and its cohorts who's main goal is to force artist to relate
to the majority of dumbed-down listeners and/or prove to the big wigs
themselves that they are worth the investment.

This song targets those corrupted labels and their rappers who take
the countless hours of writing, producing and rehearsing to make fools
out of themselves. We settle to take whats given and not reach for whats
needed. Rappers creating illusions for personal gain isn't what hip-hop
spurned from. Hip-hop for most of us have literally saved our lives. How
can we mock that?
